Call it the Toilet Bowl or Poop Chute but after you get these runs you will flush with pride.  Drop off the kids at the pool and drop in on the pride of Moab, Utah.  So, sit or get off the pot, but (yes, it is a big but) do your duty and leave no skidmarks. Wipe out with only the greatest of care, to reduce skidmarks, rashes and the painful itching and swelling that may often accompany such nastiness ... oops, getting off on the wrong tangent.   Pack up your bike shorts and bring an extra pair just in case.

Leaership Types as instructed at the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) over the course of 30 days where they have been working the subject since 1965 when legendary 10th Mountain Division trainers Paul Petzoldt and Tap Tapley started working together in the private educational sector.  Of late, NASA has used NOLS for final honing of expedition behavior in advance of Shuttle missions.  The videos that follow are from the school founded by Paul Petzoldt, the National Outdoor Leadership School ("NOLS").  http://www.NOLS.edu

To my way of thinking this is what kettlebelling is all about:

Take a heavy object, in this case a pood, and keep it moving in a natural way as the spirit moves you for a goodly time.  We can't all be roofers carrying bags of slag and tarpaper rolls up to the roof and mopping hot pitch with a double skein.  But we can achieve a similar level of fitness (minus the beer) by swinging a kettlebell freestyle like these nature lovers on the beach:
